Find a template and make it yours

Open the template library, choose a design, and select Use this template. Its size is set for you, and the text, shapes, colors and barcodes remain editable. There is no watermark or “sample” stamp on the printed artwork.

Search for what you need: jam, honey, peanut butter, spices, watering, candles or Amazon. Filter by category or shape. Each template shows its physical dimensions. Round and rectangular labels of the same width have different usable areas.

Measure the flat area of your jar or container before choosing a size. A template’s color does not make its stock waterproof, freezer-safe or compatible with a thermal printer. Choose media intended for the actual printer and conditions.

Some templates use a specific sheet preset. Design sizes are single-label artwork dimensions, not a promise that any manufacturer’s sheet will line up. For sheets, choose the exact stock or enter its margins, pitch, rows and columns under the label-size controls. Test alignment before using a full sheet.

Select text on the canvas to change it in the properties panel. A jam label can become honey or peanut butter: update the name, supporting text and brand, then choose colors that suit your packaging. Move or remove decorations as needed.

Dates and care records include areas you can complete yourself. Watering labels do not prescribe one schedule for every plant. Product fronts and handling labels are design starting points; add the actual product information and any required instructions for your use.

UPC templates ask for your own 12-digit UPC-A before opening. A valid check digit checks the number’s format, not your right to use it or the product it identifies. Amazon templates ask for the barcode value supplied by Amazon, product title and condition. They do not convert an ASIN into an FNSKU. See Amazon product labels.

Use the account menu to save a named design to the cloud, or Export → Save design file to keep a local copy. Cloud saves are private to your account and subject to the free plan’s limit. Local files let you keep more designs independently.

Stars help you find templates again. Without signing in, favorites stay in this browser. Signed-in favorites and likes belong to your account. A star or like does not save changes made in the editor; save the design itself to keep those.

Each built-in template has its own page and share link. Sharing that link opens the original template for someone else to customize. It does not reveal your private design or include your edits. Public user submissions are not open yet. For a concern about material on the site, use Content reports.

Match the label dimensions and the printer’s actual resolution. Review the export notes and print one label to check size, layout and barcode value before a batch. Color artwork normally needs a suitable color printer; ZPL omits background colors and may change other elements. The Mac Zebra walkthrough and print-quality guide cover setup and checks.
