How to print labels on a Brother QL
BarcodeStack includes 6 nominal Brother DK die-cut sizes at 300 DPI. Match the code to your actual roll and model, then use the supported driver. Enter custom dimensions for stock not listed.

Pick your DK roll
Search the code on your roll, such as DK-1201 or DK-1241, and check the listed dimensions. Use a custom size for an unlisted roll.

Design the label
Text, barcodes, logos — or a spreadsheet merge for a whole address book.

Export the PDF
Export the selected nominal dimensions, then compare a 100% plain-paper test with the loaded stock and printable area.

Print via the Brother driver
Select the QL printer, pick the matching DK media in the driver, print at 100%.
Good to know
- Always print at 100% / “Actual size”. “Fit to page” rescales the PDF and breaks both label dimensions and barcode scannability.
- Match the loaded roll and selected media. Follow the exact model's instructions for any mismatch warning.
- Print one label and test-scan any barcode before running a full batch.

- Which QL models work?
- Check the exact QL model's supported operating systems, driver, roll and resolution. Browser design does not establish that a particular computer can print to the device.
- What about TZe tape (P-touch handhelds)?
- TZe and DK are different media systems. This catalog does not currently offer TZe presets. Check the exact printer's accepted formats and manufacturer software before attempting to transfer artwork.
