How to print labels on a Rollo
Rollo printers are 203 DPI direct-thermal printers, and BarcodeStack builds its canvas at exactly that resolution — 812 × 1218 dots for a 4×6 — so barcodes land on physical printer dots and scan on the first pass.

Pick the size
Open the editor with the 4 × 6" Shipping preset (or any Zebra/Rollo size — they share 203 DPI).

Design the label
Add text, a Code 128 barcode, or import your order spreadsheet with {{column}} placeholders.

Export a PDF
Export → “PDF — exact label size”. The file is exactly 4 × 6 inches.

Print through the Rollo driver
Open the PDF, choose the Rollo, set paper size to 4 × 6 and scale to 100%, then print. The Rollo's auto-detect handles gap sensing.
Good to know
- Always print at 100% / “Actual size”. “Fit to page” rescales the PDF and breaks both label dimensions and barcode scannability.
- Print one label and test-scan any barcode before running a full batch.
- Direct thermal labels fade in sunlight — use them for shipping, not archival.
